I have been in the Hair Industry and Licensed for 31 years. Originally from Hoboken, New Jersey, I have been doing hair and living in the Queen Creek/San Tan Valley area for the last 22 years. I have always wanted to be in the Hair Industry. I enjoy the feeling I get helping people look and feel their best. Styles and Trends are always changing in this field and that's why I provide color and style cutting classes for our staff throughout the year to ensure that Serenity Hair Design can provide our clients what they are asking for. I have been blessed with a great staff and clientele. I have enjoyed being part of the San Tan Valley community as both a business owner and resident and always try to support local causes. I would like to thank all of our clients because without them I would not be able to fulfill my dream of owning my own Salon. God Bless!

Hi! My name is Shelly Whitaker and I have been a licensed cosmetologist for over 32 years. I was born and raised in California where I managed multiple salons. My family and I just recently moved to Arizona in 2022 and we are so thankful that we get to call this beautiful state our home. My favorite part about this profession is the relationships I get to build with my clients. They become like family and my goal at every appointment is to ensure that their needs and wants are met. I couldn't be more excited to be a part of the Serenity family!
